Mum-to-be leaves people shocked after capturing the moment her baby bump ‘dropped’

People were stunned by the viral video

Pregnancy is pretty incredible.

The fact that someone can just grow an entire human inside them in just a matter of months and then go on and birth said human is still extremely mind-blowing to me.

And it's clear each step of pregnancy is just as amazing after one mum-to-be left people utterly shocked after capturing the exact moment her baby bump 'dropped'.

Just 48 hours after the recording, her stomach looked completely different.

The mother was 38 weeks and three days pregnant at the time of recording, and most likely a matter of days off having the actual baby.

TikToker Nabs, who goes by the handle @nabby.nabs online, shared the viral clip of her baby bump and her upload racked up over 723k likes in the process.

She captioned the post: "Can NOT believe I caught this."

Nabs then explains that she 'caught the beginning of the drop on camera'.

The lady's stomach then appears to suddenly stretch downwards.

"Whoa," she comments as the moment seemingly took her breath away.

In the video, she also includes what her stomach looks like two days later and her bump looks completely different.

Many were quick to comment on the video, which was posted in August 2021.

"Mine has been dropping super low then climbing back up," wrote one person. "He thinks I'm like an indoor playground or something!"

Another added: "Ooh! I remember that feeling! baby is coming soon. I wish you an easy labour with no pain at all. May you sneeze the baby out!"

"I dropped while standing in a Macy's," a third shared. "An older woman saw it happen and started crying because she thought it was beautiful. Scared me though."

"This is cool and all, but all I see is the pressure on your bladder," said a fourth person.

"My last pregnancy," added another. "She did that in the middle of Walmart then kicked my bladder and I peed on myself.

"And you just know she immediately started to breathe a little better."

The NHS has explained a little more about baby bumps 'drops' with the official website explaining: "In the last weeks, some time before birth, the baby's head should move down into your pelvis.

"When your baby's head moves down like this, it's said to be 'engaged'.

"When this happens, you may notice your bump seems to move down a little. Sometimes the head does not engage until labour starts."
