In the last few weeks alone, countless scary hits have been added to the streaming service.
Last month, a handful of Gerald's Game viewers claimed that the big-name Steven King adaptation of the eerie thriller had left them 'passing out'.

And in the same week, Renee Zellweger horror Case 39 set tongues wagging, with many fans in shock that the Bridget Jones actress has such versatility.
This week, however, after much anticipation, a newly-released abduction horror has been added to Netflix's already impressive roster.
With a colossal cast, spine-tingling storyline and jump scares that'll have you accidentally launching the remote at your other-half, we guarantee, you won't be disappointed.

Starring the likes of Dead Poets Society's Ethan Hawke, as well as Saving Private Ryan's Jeremy Davies and The Hunger Games' E. Roger Mitchell, this feature film tells the torturous tale of a teenage boy who is one day abducted by a serial child killer known in his town as 'The Grabber'.
The villainous perpatrator (played by Hawke) - who dons a creepy white mask and top hat - takes the youngster to his home where he remains in captivity.
Trapped in an underground basement, however, teenager Finney soon comes across a mystical black telephone, which he uses to plot his escape by communicating with the ghosts of The Grabber's previously murdered victims.
Anyone else got chills? No? Just me?

We are, of course, talking about the 2021 hit The Black Phone, a stomach-wrenching adaptation of Joe Hill's short story of the same name. You can watch the trailer here:
And since being added to Netflix's catalogue of blockbusters, the movie has left many viewers tearing their hair out (in a good way!).
Taking to social media this week, one fan penned: "Bro i cant sleep w/o a night livht bc i watched 20 minutes of the black phone - i watched it a month ago idk y im still scared [sic]."

Another went on: "The Black Phone" was the best horror film of 2022 in my personal opinion. How will a sequel be done? Who knows, but color me intrigued."
